My name is Jesse Neumann and I love creating art. I believe it is one of the most important aspects of the human experience. I was born in Denver, Colorado and spent my childhood and teen years split between Colorado and Wisconsin. I studied animation and illustration at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and graduated with a BA in 2D animation in 2007. I began my tattoo career a year earlier in 2006 with a year long apprenticeship at Body Graphics in Lakewood, CO under Art Thompson. I quickly fell in love with the creativity and personal expression that can be achieved in the tattoo industry. I have spent most of my career in Colorado, California, and Michigan. My favorite tattoo styles are non-traditional, illustrative, Japanese, and pop-surrealism. While pursuing a career in the tattoo industry I was still constantly painting and illustrating, developing a unique pop-surrealist or “low brow” art style. I have shown my art work in multiple art galleries in Colorado. It has long been a dream of mine to meld my two artistic loves together and open an art gallery/tattoo studio. So in 2022 I opened Memento Mori Gallery in Lakewood’s 40West art district. I hope to see you soon for a new tattoo or to tour the gallery.

Originally from the Big Horn mountains of northern Wyoming, Lynon has been drawing and painting since a very young age. Initially inspired by comic books and cartoons, he then with the guidance of instructors, moved into the diligent practices of still life, landscape and portraiture in the academic tradition working directly from observation.
After high school, Lynon moved to Denver where he studied illustration at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and received his bachelors degree in 2006. In the following months, Lynon moved to the Boulder area landing a position at Liberty Puzzles and has since been their lead product development artist and puzzle designer.
On the side, his freelance and personal work allow him to explore the nuances of conceptualization though the drawing and painting mediums. His work and style ranges from the surreal to the objective, loose and painterly to refined and detailed. His work thrives on formulating compositions that dynamically highlight and support ideas while adhering to an underlying dedication to rhythmic flow and technical craftsmanship.
When he is not making art, he and his wife Kimberly are having fun raising their two young daughters Penelope and Amelia in Longmont, Colorado. Please feel free to follow Lynon on Instagram, Facebook and check out more of his work online at lynonaksamit.com.
Way, way back in the day, my first memories of art, were of drawing a ’64 Chevy El Camino, and adding lettering that said, El 8 Ball. Yep, I was going to design the next great muscle car. But as life would dictate, High School art classes back then wouldn’t allow drawing cars in class. So I dropped art after one day, and didn’t take another art class for literally 30 years.
The art work I create now is what happened after l listened to my muse, recognized my purpose in life, and became an artist. Some of my favorite subjects are; Faith, Kustom Kulture, Baseball, Girls and Rat Fink. Many of my newer pieces represent ideas and emotions I would have created, had I pursued my art in high school. When I sit down to draw or paint now, in my mind I am seventeen again.
Along the way life experiences allowed me to learn to work in many different mediums, so I call myself a multi-medium artist. One of my favorites is painting with lettering enamel on anything from Plexiglas, to buildings, to cars. I also draw a lot including; pencil, pen & ink, pointillism pastels and street painting. I have also worked as a professional photographer.

AJ Duncan (they/them) is a figurative surrealist living in Aurora, Colorado. They've been drawing since they were 3 years old, growing up on a farm in rural Western Illinois with a bunch of barn cats and Disney Princess VHS tapes. They recall their mom stifling a laugh while describing their first drawings as "women with cat ears and big boobs." Nowadays, AJ's art still consists of fantastical women, but with a bit more tact in composition.
AJ has done a little bit of everything when it comes to art. They spent a few semesters at Western Illinois University learning the elements of design and jewelry-making, and studying Contemporary Art in Berlin, Germany. They owned a photography studio for a couple years. During a period of homelessness and bouncing around Denver, they'd do whatever they could to enjoy Art, often adult coloring books and wire-wrapping jewelry. The last 4 years, they've been practicing digital art (self-taught) and felt confident enough to start entering shows in the summer of 2023.
Much of AJ Duncan's art style is inspired by comic books and animation, which comes through their work in vibrant colors, high contrast, and black line art. A common theme in their art is Hair and various Iconography placed within the subject's hair. Inspiration is found in; their current spiritual journey, their time in the beauty industry, their wild past as a pinup model and raver, and their healing relationship with cannabis. AJ often finds their expression through self portraits. Street art, paper dolls, art history, and couture fashion are also major influences for them.
When AJ isn't making art, they're likely watching Critical Role or Dimension 20, reading non-fiction books, or on a foodie adventure with their husband.
